What are you goign to be using the Fibre for ?
what sort of lenghts :) and why doesnt copper cut it :)

The Fibre will be used for a 3000 ft network for computer data. Copper can not exceed 328 feet.

Try a Google search for "fiber, cable, length" or things of that sort. I'd also suggest using the spelling of FIBER rather than FIBRE. The latter is not used here in the US but in the UK and Australia.

You can try http://www.siemon.com/us/standards/ for some basics. I did find that the max length is 2000 meters. This is roughly twice the distance you need. Just be aware that terminating fiber takes special equipment and some training. Terminate it wrong and you've got a whole lot of nothing.

You can also Google search for vendors in So CA that do installs. One that I know of is SCE out of Northridge.
