Well, I got a little trouble about this DHTML. I am using FrontPage 2002 and if you see there is an option called "DHTML effect". CooL!!! Guess what? When I view the page from FP view panel it looks okay but when I upload it to the server, it seems that my work is gone!!! Just nothing is there......all empty page!! What wrong? Can anyone help me out why that DHTML doesn't work when I upload the page to PowWeb? By the way, I checked and found my FrontPage Extension is installed perfect. So........I am thinking where is the problem! Please help!
Thanks

I want to use the effect called "Fly In or Drop word by word". I know how to write the HTML codes menually but I just want to save the time but no luck. From the FrontPage 2002, Format -----> Dynamic HTML Effects option I am choosing. When I am in the edit or preview mode, it just works FERFECT! When I upload it ..... just nothing :( What can I do? Write the code menually ?
Thanks for reply !

Using FP, switch to folder view and make sure that a file "animate.js" is in the same folder as the page with the DHTML effect.
Also, I saved a test page and viewed it -- the animation went by so fast it may as well have not happened at all -- that may be what's happening on your page. :)
Let me know if that doesn't help and I'll dig somemore.

Thank you so much for your help. YES! It worked but I found another question here. As you mentioned that animate.js file should be in the same folder, I found the FP create that "animate.js" file outside of the folder:mad:.I am saving my .htm files to htdocs, because it's more easier for me to manage and upload but as I said, it's saving the file outside of the htdocs. So it works fine is my computer but doesn't work in the web! If I have different effects in different pages, what FP will do? All these files will be same name as "animate.js" and saved outside of the folder? Is there any way to fix the "path" problem? I had to manually upload the file to the htdocs folder (where index.htm is) and I found now it works :D
Thank you again for helping me out :D

If you edit "live" on the site, FP should save the animate.js in the root folder (/www/i/account/htdocs/).
If you're going to manually FTP the files up, be sure that they're saved locally using the same relative path as on the server.
