View Full Version : Why can't I post??
This is the second time (probably third) that I try to post and my post gets sent to some moderation queue and I never get to see the post! This is rdidiculous, I posted simple questions that I needed answered... what the hell is wrong with that? If you're going to use a moderation queing system then get those posts sorted out asap, it's really irritating having to wait the whole day, or even weeks and not have a simple post answered.
Do you see all your posts in this page?

I've made two posts since this system got implemented, and none of them have gotten through... or "approved" as you call it. I don't know why since they were just two simple questions. And now that post an "angry" post I get a response... which, excuse me for being clueless, doesn't make sense to me.
I checked and remembered that sending one of your post to admins, and PMed one of them to follow up.
Another one, I don't know.
Did someone contact you?
Is your problem resolved?

Posts must be approved by moderators first. Each post must be appropriate for forum in which it is posted. It must be within the forum rules which means it should not have inappropriate language, links to inappropriate contents such as porn or competitor websites, or other contents deemed inappropriate.
Also, there is no need to have multiple posts on the same topic. It is possible that your post was indeed posted, but relocated to another thread. Some threads that are related are merged. There were times I could no longer find my own posts, because they were relocated.
Sometimes you may post at a time when there is no moderator for that particular forum. It may take some time to see your post. I know that some weekends I could not post a new thread, because there was no moderator to approve my post. This is a free forum and the moderators do NOT get paid, so don't expect them to be there 24/7.

Moderators are not restricted to approving posts in a particular forum, we're able to approve posts for any forum. We move them to a more appropriate one if we think it is needed.
I've noticed in the past a long delay in posts being approved if you post in the late evening (most US time-zones) but this isn't happening nearly as much at present. (The hard working staff are also approving and answering them from home in their 'family' time.)
Migration Problem threads are being deleated now by endurance. I guess they don't want the public to know thier problems and what they are doing to our sites. I have copied these threads, some with 20 posts. What a shame this is becoming.

Threads with insults, derogatory comments towards employees, unprofessionalism, cussing, etc. are another. We have to draw the line there.

Now that’s funny. I guess you want canned statements from us. What a world.
By the way, your phone support did a great job today. They answered the phone on the first ring. My problems where resolved in less than 5 minutes. Now that's great service!

Glad you're pleased with the telephone support agent that assisted you. :)
Well, I'm closing this thread, as the original poster isn't coming back.
