I posted these issues last week (http://forum.powweb.com/showthread.php?t=65970), but they seem to have been moved to the post-migration section, which may be why no one's answered them. Anyway...
I'm on manual migration. The migration tool must have been run quite a while ago because there were a number of old MySQL databases, out-dated SMTP addresses, and files. So I re-ran the migration tool. Unfortunately, there are still old MySQL databases--it didn't drop them. My newer SMTP addresses haven't been copied over. Some old domains which were deleted 2+ weeks ago (because they expired) are still there. Old directories which I deleted weeks ago are still there.
Doesn't the migration tool "clean out" the new platform before migrating things over? This cruft in my shiny new platform makes me wonder about the integrity of the content of my databases and many other settings that I don't want to have to spend hours replicating or checking.
