I'm unable to send emails since about a week ago. right after the migration it was fine but not now. nothing was change on my end. I have tried everthing I have seen on the help sides. Like changing the Smtp to smtp.powweb.com and so forth.

What is your domain name?
Which program are you using?

Have you tried using the Webmail as an alternative until the problem is resolved?

The domain is countrymods.com
using Outlook (office 2000)
ISP Bresnan communications

The solution I'm using currently is using my ISP for sending.
I don't use the webmail!!!!!

Using your ISP may not be the best option as Powweb have a SPF record set up. This means that it may be treated by others as spam if it comes from anywhere else but Powweb's mail servers.

I don't blame you for not using the webmail, but at least you would be able to read your mail.

Go into OPS and you can see the mappings of the addresses that are on your domain. Some will be username @ pop.powweb.com and others name @ domain.com format.

You can change the passwords and retry in Outlook with the new passwords. Also, the smtp & pop should be set to mail.countrymods.com now. If that doesn't work, then pop.powweb.com and smtp.powweb.com should work.

I have done all of those (above) and it still doesn't work. I have problems with my works email provider and the ISP. This is the first time I had problems with the powweb servers with my ISP, if it is that.
I have no problem recieving emails but just can not send them.

while other people had problems with settings, my admin e-mail for the domain was deleted while migrating. how stupid is that? and i went nuts trying to figure out what the problem was. i just logged into ops and found out that my admin e-mail account was deleted.

You could host your DNS elsewhere and not worry about setting up the SPF record or at least modify it to suit.

change the port to 587 and drop the end of the user name (powweb portion) fix the issue
