Please help !

I am trying to install Gallery 2 on http://www.domain.com/gallery2/

On the first step when i copy the login.txt to http://www.domain.com/gallery2/ and click Authenticate

I got the error message "Error: your login.txt key does not match correctly. Please download a new authentication string from below and try again." I didn't had this problem before my account migrated to the new server.

I've taken the login.txt file and uploaded it to the right place, deleted it, tried again, always with the same results.:(

I search the forum, some member suggested it could be the safe mode is turn off in the PHP, is that the reason ?

I know there are numbers of powweb user that had experience this since the server was migrated. If you guys had this fixed or if you know how to fix thsi , please give a hand.

Thank you so much in advance

Kevin

I was having that problem as well on Tuesday...
Out of Curiosity, when you're on the http://www.domain.com/gallery2/ page, do you get a number of;
WARNING: [something something something line 110]

I spoke with Powweb Tech support and the first guy had a hard time seeing the errors. I guess they blend in a bit, mind you I could see them clearly.. Double check your site for them.

The Tech mentioned to me that this was a bit of a global problem, but they got it fixed for me and I had Gallery working before the end of the business day. I know that while I had the PHP errors, I wasn't able to get passed the error with the login.txt. If it helps any, here's the ticket that I put in with Support, "Tracking Number: C01614335000000000"

They might be able to cross referance the Solution/Problem

I had that problem and I had to create a directory called phpsessions in the root (as a sibling of htdocs).

Now, if I could only figure out why I can't upload pictures anymore.

There are a few posts in the "Image Galleries (http://forums.powweb.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72)" section of the Forums; you might want to look there to see if there is anyopne with a similar problem to yours. There are a few Gallery related threads there.

After that I'm not sure. But your best bet would be to contact support.
