Could someone tell me if this is correct, and if it is NOT correct, could be be corrected? This is from the knowledgebase/FTP area:

While specific steps will vary by FTP client, you will need to enter the following login information when setting up a connection to your site:

* Host Name/Address: ftp.powweb.com

* Host Type: Automatic detect

* User ID: FTP username (The master FTP username is typically your account username.)

* Password: FTP password (The password for the master account is typically your account password.)


Note: Make sure that you do not connect in Passive Mode. "

I use WS_FTP and the above is good if you know what each of the data items actually are. I usually have a problem with using the correct UserID and PassWord and regarding: Note: Make sure that you do not connect in Passive Mode... I use Passive Mode without a problem, that I know of. :cool:

At one time I thought my OPS UserID also applied to my domain but my UserID was assigned a long time ago to a domain no longer with us. :p

It is incorrect - Passive mode certainly works. This error has been highlighted before and at present no correction has appeared.
