Anyone have either a way to monitor the speed im getting when some one enters the url of my site in there browser. So I can see if or when the speed drops off like so many od us are having. ANy ideas on free scripts or software for this?

You can use the free tool at http://websitepulse.com/help/tools.php - that's what I use when I think there are problems. I subscribe to the Websitepulse monitoring service and it provides me an hourly check of server response time (time to fetch all the HTML). Very handy.
