Interesting Site. :)

How do you gather your information about the animals?

Copying directly from another source is a no-no, and personally learning about all of those animals would consume much time! :)

Are you looking to gain money through advertising, or is this a hobby?

Just curious.

Thanks,
Ron Steedman

rsteedma...thank you for your comments...As you may see by my site it is a hobby I have been gathering information on animals for about two years... buying and reading books from the library. contacting animal endangered sites that dont mind giving out more exposure over particular animal images that are threatened around the world...I have much more to scan and upload plus some I'm drawing was an art program.........
As for making any money?.........that would be a long way down the road as the site still needs more content with more interesting themes.....But thats the fun in web-building for a hobby......enjoy it first ..........

I liked it. My very first website was all about animals, mammals, reptiles, birds, and fish. I got lucky and it became #1 on all major search engines for over 6 mos. Schools used it for students, I was in roadkilll projects, several webrings, and won awards. Mind you... this was my first site - knew nothing about how to compose it, but did have knowledge about the subject.

It started out as a hobby also. In the end it was over 275 pages printed and was still growing. I got 75-100 emails a day from folks all over the world. I had first hand knowledge about most everything on the site and was raising an African Gray, 2 cockatiels, 2 cats, many fish in 3 large tanks, a 6ft Giant Green Iguana, and a rare Forest Hingeback Tortoise.

I often wish I'd never torn the site down. Good Luck on yours!

Didn't see your email address anywhere so I will post this here.
You might want to take a look at the bottom of the blackbear page. There is a typo bbear and a sentence above that that needs correcting.
