Ok so I have 2 websites with 2 different accounts that run with PHP-Fusion. One of them transferred almost totally with only 3 errors during the transfer.

The other one says in the migration kiosk that there were 62 errors. Ok so I guess some sites must have experienced more errors than...

The problem here is: I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! What am I supposed to do with the errors? I don't understand as they are plain html pages wrapped in the Fusion cms and I have over 300 of these pages wrapped...so how come 60 of them won't transfer properly?

I really need help and I want to make sure everything transfers properly. I really don't know what to do here and since August 31st is coming even closer, I don't want my website to disappear when that happens.

PLEASE...someone help me out and explain to me what I need to do...I'm desperate here and feel completely lost...and I'm getting nervous with the possibility of seeing my websites disappear...

I've found that many of these errors are due to pages that have been modified since the first run of the migration scripts. You can use the new temp URL to check your site (http://username.powweb.com/) to see if the site is loading the proper pages and using the correct database information.

If your migration is set to auto-migrate, the QA team should be working to get it migrated properly for you. 60 errors is really not that many and they should be able to get it migrated for you before the deadline.

You can contact transition@powweb-inc.com to find out more about the errors listed and if there is anything that you can do to help correct them.

I went to http://anhs.powweb.com and what it shows is my website and everything seems to be working normally...

Does that mean that it has been migrated successfully? I'm so confused... :( :( :( :(

Hmmm, your temp URL seems to be redirecting to your actual URL .. do you have an .htaccess file or a META tag that redirects to the "fusion" directory (folder)? If you are using a redirect, then it would redirect back to your original site (on the old servers). You might want to disable any such redirect while you work on getting the site migrated.

Try this URL:
http://anhs.powweb.com/fusion/news.php

Does that look correct to you? You'll have to watch when checking any of the links, as some of them are hard coded for your actual URL.

Does that mean I have to cycle through each and every link to see if they all work properly?

And yes the website looks ok

You should, at least, check each of the pages that is listed as having an error.

Again, I'd suggest contacting transition@powweb-inc.com to find out what you can do to help correct the errors.

Thanks (jj) I'll see what I can come up with.

Well it finally looks as though both my websites were migrated in the past 24 hours as I've been uploading stuff using the old platform and my websites weren't getting updated unless I uploaded to the new platform.

First comment is it seems aas though my websites are slower than usual...but I guess it's a normal state for something that just got transferred? Will this speed issue be solved once all websites on Powweb have been migrated? I hope so!

So in the end I guess I worried too much for nothing.
