Still getting used to PowWeb, so please forgive me if I use wrong terminology or mis-understand something.
I have set up my account and have several domains that I am pointing at sub-directories. I purchased to the extra pack so that I don't have to mess with the .htaccess file myself.
I just tried to install Joomla using the instant installer. I told it I wanted it on a certain domain and then did not put a path in because I wanted it in the root of that domain. It installed in my htdocs folder and not the sub-directory. I uninstalled. I then tried to install again and put in the path "/folder" where folder is where my domain points. It was installed in the right folder, but the path was now part of the links I get www.folder.com/folder which does not exist because the domain root is already that folder (does that make sense?). I uninstalled again and thought someone here might be able to offer some insight.
Thanks,
Kip
