Hi,

My site is www.anubz.com, Now recently I've decided to change it and as such have reinstalled a e107 CMS.

Now my question is I used to be able to access the folders behind the site such as www.anubz.com/WoW and I'd see the folder structure for linking files and such I'd uploaded for my warcraft guild etc.

I now get a generic page saying the folder needs a "index.html" or other such page.

Why has this changed? and how do I get it back to how it was?

Thanks in advance for any advice or help

Steven Luck

You need to turn on directory browsing, which you can do by going to:

Services (tab) > Site Tools > .htaccess

Then click on the link for Directory Browsing.

It is turned off by default on the new platform.

Each directory must now have an index file in it, with whatever you want in it, or a .htaccess file with the line Options +Indexes in it, so that a browser will just show a list of that directorys' contents.

That shouldn't be the case if they follow the steps I've pointed out. That's what the tool is for (to let you browse without an index file).

I wasn't trying to post an alternate type of route, we were just typing at the same time. So, all roads DO lead to Rome.. :)

Very big thanks. I've done what keithl suggested and it's all good now :D

Again thanks :)
