Deleting messages via IMAP

I am using Outlook Express 6.0 and IMAP protocol. My messages dont seem to be deleted from the server -- when viewed via WebMail I had over 300 messages in the INBOX. Any ideas?

Hi, I am also having several probs w/ my IMAP protocol setup (using this vs. POP3 on the suggestion powweb's tech support) and am still working out the kinks w/ them (it's been over 4 days now).
