Is there a way to go into mysql and change the member’s name who made the post and the date it was posted.
My very first member had 8 very good posts, but instead of generating a new topic for each of the eight topics, she started one thread and then did reply for the 7 others topics putting them all under the one topic.
I didn't think it would be a problem getting her to fix it so I went ahead, made copies in MS Word and deleted the post.
I was wrong; she just doesn't get it and wants me to fix it. The problem is that the 8 posts are not things that should come from the admin person but from members.
So bringing this all back around, I would like to re-post them under as the admin and then change the post to reflect her name and the date (2 wks ago) that they were posted.
I can not do that as the admin of the board but could I do that in mysql and how please?
TIA
Joe
