Easy populate problems

I'm having problems getting Easy Populate to update my database. I've found a lot of people having this same problem but noone with an answer. I've already checked in the Oscommerce Support Forums but no answer there either. Can someone please help me?

When I download the file, open as a tab delimited in Excel, and change the content, and then re-upload, it does not update the content. The message I get is:

File uploaded.
Temporary filename: /tmp/php5ehP8c
User filename: EP2006Sep29-0404.txt-1.xls
Size: 79501


It doesn't add the new products or anything. When I download it, it doesn't download the corrected file I uploaded either, but the old one.

I suggest asking in the support thread for Easy Populate in the osCommerce forum. You're much more likely to have someone familiar with the issues respond there.

You must save the file with a .txt extension. Not a .xls extension. Also save it tab delimited.
