what is the folder ".trellix_data"

I never created it and I just noticed it. Can I delete it?
I opened the xml file within it and did notice a reference to one of my domain names (which does not have a webpage, however).

That folder is created when you install the Site Builder system. The Site Builder files/folders need to remain if you are using it. If you want to remove Site Builder and it's files/folders, then you'll need to contact support and request that they be removed.
