Yvette, if you're out there lurking...

I've updated my site with some photos from my recent trip to New England. You can find the new galleries by visiting the Flash Photo Gallery or the Travel Map from the main page of my site.

THANK YOU!

I think Vermont's covered bridges, trees and views are most like ours. We just moved from Wehr Mill Road (where Wehr's Dam and the covered bridge is) to Route 309 (not even a mile away). We have a covered bridge tour and Pennsylvania has more covered bridges than any other state! I believe the number is 200 and most are in my area.

The pictures of the mountains of trees are probably my favorite, because they represent our area. I loved the other pictures, too. We have rivers, farms, animals and quiet scenes close to me, but we could drive into the cities, too. I personally prefer the country.

I should really take some pics. See the covered bridge (http://powerpageswebdesign.com/WehrMillBridge43.jpg), autumn view (http://powerpageswebdesign.com/home/autumnview.jpg) and winter view (http://powerpageswebdesign.com/home/winterview.jpg) from our ranch home and farm we just sold. The pics are optimized for slow Internet connections (and to upload for the real estate ad). Beyond the high metal structures is Jaindl turkey farm. Now that we moved, the scent is even stronger! Turkey in the oven smells good, but turkeys on a farm do not. ;)

I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. We really had a good time driving through the area. We put on nearly 3,000 miles over the 11 days we were there. We didn't do any driving at night so we wouldn't miss seeing anything so you can imagine how much time was spent in the car. Fortunately, we had pretty good weather, although for the photos I would have preferred less overcast skies.

One of these days we'll make it back out and drive through Pennsylvania. It looks like a nice place to visit.

Blue Mountain, Lancaster and many more beautiful places in Pennsylvania. I went to New York City a few years ago. I could barely breathe! There are no trees or plants, just buildings, streets, traffic and people. Oh, and the rats the size of small dogs. As soon as we crossed the border, we saw the Welcome to Pennsylvania billboard among the trees. I was Home Sweet Home!

hi mgregg, outstanding photos!

2 questions..

1, whats the name of the crazy looking "upsidedown fish" with the
huge teeth & jaw?

2, is the flash gallery software of your own design? or is it software one can purchase or download?

-keep up the great work :)

Do you mean this one? Thorny Fish (http://www.itsmygallery.com/Flash/slides/thornyfish.jpg) I don't know that name of it. It was a sculpture in a cactus garden at Sea World. Not real, but looks nasty!

I use a program called JAlbum. It's free and has a lot of different template styles to choose from. The one I use for Flash is called FotoPlayer. There is a free version that can be used, but I chose to pay for mine, which gets rid of the trial version info that is displayed on the free version. It's been worth it, though. I really like the ease of use, and the results! You can find the template and others at www.jalbum.net

Thanks, you too!

That thorny fish looks like a dead fish being upside-down, but dead fish usually float to the top of the water! My son's pediatrician has a fish tank and we noticed that the puffer fish was no longer in the tank, but many new fish were. Hmm....
