View Full Version : How do I download a backup of my database? (UI designers, see here)

So I clicked "view backups" and then clicked the date to grab a copy of the database to keep on a backup disk. But you know what? Clicking on that link *restored* the last backup on top of my current DB! No confirmation text, no "are you sure," no indication of what was going to happen when I clicked the date link. Someone should really fix that.

Now that I'm done ranting, can someone tell me how to download a zipped up version of my DB? That's all I need to do. Thanks! :)

I am logged into OPS and testing on one of my databases. I clicked MySQL, then View Backups. I clicked the date for one backup and it is converting database format for download. The web page seems to refresh itself as I wait for it to finish. Okay, that is weird. The database isn't that big. I think it is stuck in a loop or something.
