The design and color scheme are common and appropriate for travel websites. The white text is okay on dark blue, but there isn't enough contrast on the light blue. My first website was designed for a client who is color blind and cannot distinguish blue from green or red from yellow - one of the two, but I am careful about both and try to use contrasting colors or hues. If you don't want to change the colors, try outlines or shadows for your text.
The Flash rotating images at the top of the page is nice but quite big. If you view the website in 800x600 screen resolution, the logo, Flash and links menu takes up most of the screen view. I have to scroll down to read any text or the entire expanded menu. But I don't have any horizontal scrolling. What do visitors see if they do not have Flash installed or enabled?
The expanding menu links work, but the main links (in the horizontal line that are always in view) only link to the index page. They should link to a category page that contains links to the subcategory pages. For example, the Gallery link should go to a page that contains links to the five locations that have gallery photos. This is helpful to search engines as well as visitors.
The Earth image at the top is a link to a Site Map. I thought is was going to be a link to a map of Australia! I guess maps would be found under information. The Gallery was nice and the images are fantastic! The linkup for the link back to the top of the page goes to the top of the contents. I would link to the navigation menu for easier navigation.
Overall, a simple, nice site that is easy to read and navigate. Nice job! :)

Thanks guys for quick and comprehensive advice. It takes some much time and effort to create a good design but it is worth it I am having huge fun creating my designs. I have fixed the html markup error as suggested by keyplyr but still having problems with my css. As for this website i have chosen to use function (image opacity) which unfortunately doesn't validate as Valid CSS. Even more surprisingly the effect doesn't work in Opera browser. Since it is a nice effect i might consider living with it but if there is any one how knows how to fix these problems please let me know. Here is the site I took it from http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/csslibrary/item/highlight-image-hover-effect/.
Very good suggestion in regards to the links on main navigation in fact i was wondering how to resolve this problem.
Thanks again http:// www.antypody.com
