Any comments/questions/suggestions welcomed. I'm very new, so assume I don't know anything.

Hm, I was prepared to rip a site to shreds, taking out my anger. It won't be so easy, though. So here's a bunch of little things:
-Yes, it is that annoying. I can't stop looking at it. The animation, that is.
-I suggest collapsing all the icons you put at the bottom of each post (have them appear when you click a link instead or something). They're a bit distracting from everything else.
-I don't like the colors the post headers change to on :hover.
-Move "Syndicate" and its link to below Archives, then move the nav (categories through syndicate) up, directly beneath the search box.
-Make the Agloco Sign Up link/image smaller.
-I still don't know what Agloco is. Maybe give a brief summary somewhere in plain site (or maybe I'm just missing it somewhere).
-Yay for using divs and not tables, but your code is still really messy. What's urchinTracker? And it would save on bandwidth to use javascript to apply all the onClick attributes (just loop through all the links on page load).
Overall, plain design, but that's not necessarily bad. Makes it easier to read and navigate and such.

Kyle, you were distracted by the annoying animation. Read towards the bottom of the page. By the way, I agree with the rest of your comments.

Okay. ;) Really, can you talk us into this? You must convince us (the Internet audience) after you can get us to find your website in the first place.
Sorry for the bluntness. You really need to take a look at your website as if you are visiting it for the first time and you don't know what to expect.

Hi KitchenSink and Yvette,
I see your points about the website not really telling people what it is.
-Yes, it is that annoying. I can't stop looking at it. The animation, that is.
Maybe if I have a link to a "What is Agloco?" post I would get rid of the graphic and big sign-up because at that point I wouldn't need them. Hopefully that explanation post will do it.

This was a plug-in but I think that is one of the options. I don't think anyone has used them anyway.

I thought urchinTracker was Google analytics. Hmm I will have to look into it. About the onClick stuff I will have to research that more (just not to sure what it is doing).

Actually I am working on another website that is more about what I do and know. This is kind of like a test almost to cut my teeth. About whether or not this product will succeed and what it is I don't think this is the place to talk about it. I'm learning a lot about web stuff and misstepping here and there along the way. But doing it part time is more fun than watching tv.
I will check into this tonight.
Thanks.
