I have seen other sites that encourage groups of people to do things together. It sounds like a fun way to meet people. It also sounds scary, if you are with a group of people when something goes wrong. You have an ethics code on your website (where you need to correct spelling and punctuation errors). But do you have someone "in charge" of each event? I would guess that would be the person who posted the event on the website.

I have friends that have met at places to do a specific thing. While there, one of the guys stole items and the others didn't notice until they watched the videotape they made! He didn't get caught, but the other guys could have gotten into trouble if he did.

Before staging an event, you should get permission from the location first. I know that many places (stores) do NOT allow cameras. Try to pick locations such as parks where you do not disrupt businesses.

Okay, enough of the negatives. Encouraging community activities is fun. The website should look more fun. The current color scheme has grey which reminds me of a rainy day. Brighter colors would be more fun. The logo doesn't seem appropriate, either. A picture of a group of people would be good in the header. Most importantly, you should explain what a Flash Mob is on the home page.
