I have one domain name being hosted by Powweb under my OPS account. I have a second domain name with it's own content, which I would like to begin hosting.

Can I activate hosting for the second domain name from within my current OPS account?

In case that didn't make sense, here's the question rephrased. Can I have multiple domains with each having unique content, from one OPS login username? Or do I have to end up with two different OPS account for both domain names?

Thanks,

You can either point your second website to a subdomain in your existing package(...but this seems to be illegal with powweb!!)

Or else you can purchase another package (from the ops) and you will manage everything from 1 ops!!

You have 2 options (actually 3)...

1. If you want totally seperate contents and space, you can purchase another package through OPS or the second domain...therefore you have 2 packages under one OPS.

2. Buy Domain Pointing for a one-time fee of $25 (through OPS) for the second domain and re-direct it to a sub-folder/sub-page using .htaccess (its what I do)

3. What you probably don't want...is just buy Domain Pointing for the second domain. By default, they will both go to the same homepage (redirect using .htaccess).

Powweb doesn't support 2 or 3...but allows it. Thats why they say you can have up to 15 domains under one account.

Good Luck:)

I do #2, as well, it works just fine after you get the htaccess file set up right.
