I don't know much about email technology so please be gentle.
I see that powweb now offers Exchange hosting. From what I know that means email (web and pop/smtp), plus calendar etc., plus colaboration things.
Also I know that there is such a thing as a "PUSH EMAIL" which means that as soon as a email is received into your email account it is instantly "PUSHED" to your receiving computer. I am particulary interested in using Windows Mobile PDA with internet plan to receive such "PUSHED" emails.
So my questions:
1. Does the powweb Exchange Hosting offer "PUSHED EMAIL" service OR does it plan to do this in the near future?
2. What version of the Exchange software does powweb use?
3. Could you provide me with a link(s) (other than on microsoft.com) where I could find good information as far as using the service is concerned.
Thanks!

1) You need to first purchase an Exchange Email Box.
Microsoft ActiveSync will allow you to connect some PDA's and download messages.
From Microsoft Site:
(Q. What types of data can be synchronized by using Exchange ActiveSync?
A. Exchange ActiveSync enables you to synchronize your e-mail messages, calendar, and contacts lists in your Exchange Server 2003 mailbox with a Microsoft Windows Mobile powered device.
Q. What types of mobile devices can be used together with Exchange ActiveSync?
A. You can use the following mobile devices with Exchange ActiveSync:
• Phones that are running Windows Mobile® 2002, Windows Mobile® 2003, or Windows Mobile® 5.0 software for smartphones
• Pocket PCs and Pocket PC phones that are running Windows Mobile® 2002, Windows Mobile® 2003, or Windows Mobile® 5.0 software
• Other mobile devices that are compatible with Exchange ActiveSync
Note: The Treo 650 Smartphone from palmOne uses built-in Exchange ActiveSync to provide wireless synchronization of e-mail and calendar between Exchange Server 2003 and the Treo 650.
Note: For more information about mobile devices that are compatible with Exchange Server 2003, see the Exchange Server 2003 Support for Mobile Devices Web page.)
(You obviously need to have your wireless provider's Data service enabled to use this).
For actual "live", "push" or synchronous delivery to your PDA/device, you would use either the Blackberry Service for Blackberry devices or Goodlink service for most other PDA's to allow mail delivery direct to your device via your wireless network.
2) Powweb uses Microsoft Exchange 2003
3) See the links above -- there are also related links with some additional information.
Each mailbox purchase comes with a full user license for Outlook 2003 or Entourage 2004 (for Mac).
