It was workign great and then the last month it has been crawling at slow speeds. Sometimes it comes up quick and others takes the page minutes to load. Sometimes it even times out and have to refresh till the page comes up. Happens to multiple users.... seems like a powweb server issue?!? Anybody else have any suggestions? Thanks!!!!

A 208Kb + image does slow the loading of a page down a little. Try reducing the Kb size of the image to below 100Kb.

thanks... i just read the slow server problems. If the image was a problem then it would just red x etc... not take forever to load the intial page as well as slow down the rest of the site. Been getting 'page cannot load' for any of the site links etc. and " Server to busy". And all intermitent.

Thats nice... i can guarantee you i can reduce that image and still have the same problems, its not on every page of the site... also this site has been the same for quite some time and has just been showing performance issues which just happen to be around the time everybody else started to complain. thanks, i'm sure i can do a few things to clean it up but looks like it will only do so much.

We're not trying to say there is no problem, just that you can improve load times (with or without the Powweb problems) by making images smaller.

www.twiztedstylz.com/portal is a really cool website with great pictures! The site loaded instantly and didn't even hesitate. I was one of two guests visiting at the time. I hope the speed of your site continues. Just be careful of your speed limit on the roads! ;)

By the way, anyone interested in the car show being hosted by Highland Daytona Racing in July 2007 can contact my sister Yvonne Keller for more information. She continues to maintain (our) local area auto events list (http://www.autoresourcetoolkit.com/autoevents2007.htm)hosted here on PowWeb. Her contact info is on the web page and when you see it, you will know why I didn't post it here. ;)
