Hi There

am having problems installing a movabletype blog here.
I get this error
"
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.
"
this is where i am trying to run the blog from:
http://harlemphotoblog.com/harlem
when i try to run the:
http://harlemphotoblog.com/harlem/mt-config.cgi
it give me the error from above and cant figure why is doing that,
can someone please walk me through the process?

Have you activated the CGI in OPS? It can take a few hours for it to be active once you turn it on. Someone posted on teh board here somewhere when the processes run, I think it is twice a day.

CGI Fulfillment runs Twice a day - after 9:00 ET and after 6:00 PM (18:00) ET.

Thanks, I did active the CGI
I will wait till 6 pm when the next update will take place and see if it goes trough after that.
is it usually difficult to install movable type here?
thanks for the help

Also, as to the CGI path, if i want to run the blog from here:
http://harlemphotoblog.com/harlem
thats also the same cgi path correct?

Also, don't forget to change your session.save_path in the PHP.INI file ... that trips up a lot of people as well... installs don't work until

1) CGI is enabled
2) The session.save_path in php.ini is set to a writable area
3) You might also want to update the upload_ path if you will be using it...

not sure to exactly what you are referring to by the last two things?
one thing is for sure, obviously i have NOT done any of those.
would you please let me know in detail how i can do that?

also take a look :
http://harlemphotoblog.com/harlem/mt-check.cgi
this got to be a good sign?

thanks again

2) The session.save_path in php.ini is set to a writable area
3) You might also want to update the upload_ path if you will be using it...
