How do I find out exactly which WP version was installed by PowWeb (very nicely, by the way)? It was a recent installation as I finished migrating from Blogger to WP (here) an hour before 2.2 was announced.
The reason is that I was trying to add some HTML -- Google Analytics, MyBlogLog -- near the <head/> tag and found I couldn't (and shouldn't) from what WP support forum called "the backend editor".
It made me realize I should have a backup on my computer -- I think -- and really don't know how to edit (Smultron & Cyberduck on a Macbook Pro on OSX10.4.9) the files on PowWeb and keep the files on my version the same.
Or, should I be editing from the files on PowWeb and, if so, how?
