My oScommerce store is extremely slow!

All of my websites hosted through powweb are working great except for my oscommerce store. it's stored in a folder on the same domain as my main site so I know it's not the domain name. Sometimes it takes up to 2 or 3 minutes to load a page, other times it just times out and give page cannot be displayed. I called powweb about it, but of course at the very time I called them it was working ok. But 95 percent of the time it is extremely slow.
Anyone else have this problem?

I should mention however, at the time I am posting this, the site working fine.

Well, I see that I am not alone :) (link below) My store runs on Mysql08 so that would explain the problem. It was frustrating trying to explain the issue to the tech when at the time I called it was super fast. Hopefully they will get this resolved soon.
