To avoid browser warnings, for HTTPS, my site has always used links of the form: https://USERNAME.powweb.com/

This worked in the past, but now I'm noticing the following errors:

Any solutions?

You're probably using IE7 -- add the certificate (accept this certificate permanently)

This may be the case, but that would mean that everyone to their site that uses IE7 would also get that message. I believe the concern is that the site now appears to not be secure to the site's visitors.

As soon as everyone is switched over to the LDAP system, dedicated SSL's will be one of the first things we offer. I'm going to go out on a limb and say we'll offer dedicated SSL's before the end of the year.

Shall I hand you the saw ... LOL ... naw, I know we can already technically support Dedicated SSL -- just the LDAP changes will make it easy to manage for our customers...

I bet the staff is tired of us mentioning this. I complained about the HTTPS url since PowWeb migrated to the new system. :D I don't like "that message" and I don't like the username appearing in the url. Many people don't know when things become available, not customers or even staff. Even if my customers did get notified, they may not understand or don't want to pay more.
