Other ISP suggestions?

I'm getting extremely tired of constant user complaints about the bog slow speed of my site combined with constant errors. When I moved to Powweb in March my average online counts dropped by about 30% and have steadily declined since then.

So I'm wondering, where should I go? My hosting used to be donated so I'm not sure what's good in the way of commercial ISPs. Any suggestions appreciated!

You won't find suggestions here...this is a PowWeb forum and they do not tolerate people promoting other ISPs here.

I may not be happy with the service...but i agree with them on this policy. I don't want my competition coming into my shop to promote their service.

Unless I'm confused by lack of coffee, there's a difference between ISPs and a hosting service. I have Earthlink for an ISP but there's also Verizon, DSLExtreme, Comcast, etc.

And I give kudos to entrecon. He's right on the spot. It's like going into a Ford dealer because your 'Stang isn't running right and asking about Dodges Avengers. Just don't fly.

Hosting is an "Internet Service" so I use the term in the general sense.

I would think helping move a customer such as myself who runs a highly dynamic and busy website off of Powweb's servers would be doing them a favour since they obviously don't have the resources to meet our needs. Besides, they were recently bragging that they have 100,000 customers now, I'm sure they wouldn't worry about one or two.

BTW entrecon, I clicked on your CanoeRace.com link and Fasterfox counted 28 seconds before I got a page. Maybe you should be looking for suggestions too :)

grahamj, simple answer to your question is that you won't get posted responses to your request for another hosting company. People can PM you and/or email you.
