On my first attempt your site started to load then IE7 timed out. On my second attempt, IE7 continued to display the message saying it couldn't display the web-site. On my third attempt your site loaded without problem but clicking on a few links suggested that things are not as fast as they could be.

Yup, that's been standard fare on here for months. Welcome to Powweb.
Here, let me save you a trip to support:
Hello keyplyr,
Thank you for contacting Support.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Currently, we are on the process to upgrading our CGI and MySQL servers. Hence, you might have experienced the issue with your Web site http://www.low-riders.com We are aware and working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Also, if you are using an application like WordPress, Joomla, ZenCart, etc, there's usually a caching mode that will reduce the number of database queries an application has to make. That should help your Web sites to run more quickly.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are
available 24x7.
Sincerely,

same with my site... http://neoavenue.com
hmm that's interesting, did it remove the name automatically?
test: <<name removed>>
Nope. Hey what's the deal? He was just doing his job, no need to sully his name like that!

How many times do the rules have to be stated before you catch on? No support names or competing ISP names are to be used here.

mine too, its very slow. takes like 20 + seconds to load w/ most of the images missing...
Rules? I don't have time to read rules! I'm far too busy waiting for my site to load.
That and trying to edit my own files of course:

You know phlembol, it seems like you should be on my side here:

If I thought acting like a spoiled child would help, I'd be kicking and screaming and whining and *****ing too. It won't help. It just makes things worse. They know we have problems, we can report them and note them in the proper places, but harassment won't help. I figure it is up to me to endure or move. Speaking of, I thought you were out of here. Need help packing?
Well it's helping me, I feel much better... you should try it :)
As for being out of here, nope, you thought wrong. I said no such thing

Yes my forum has been running slow now for about 24+hours!
http://forum.cyber-mag.com
Always seems to occur when I am testing new code to - which makes debugging horrible - especially when you at first think it might be the new code which is at fault! :(
Maybe Powweb is slow a lot more often than I am aware of (visitors to my site have suggested it is more frequent than I thought) And I am only seeing the massive slow down when I spend a few hours at a time at my site upgrading stuff!
Funny thing is - when ever any of my sites are down or slow at Powweb - this forum and their main page are unaffected. Seems it is only the customers that get the short end of the stick...
Hey but what else can you expect for $7.77/m -</END grumble! :D >

Customer pages are on shared servers, this forum and PowWeb's own pages aren't.
Should we get used of veeeeery poor service ?
I don't think so. When I sell some of my products, even if it is very cheap or affordable price, customers expect at least the possibility to use it for which it's been purchased for. We can't even use our Web Site if Visitors have to wait 2 minutes to load.
I contacted Customer Service and asked how long we should wait for that improvement;
I asked "we are talking about days, weeks or months ...."
She said "there's no time frame for this...."
We should demand an answer about this ridiculuos problem.

We should demand an answer ..
You don't have to demand an answer, it has been answered many times. They can sometimes find an abuser and make things better locally but the upgrade to really control things properly is not yet in place. It's not an answer anyone likes, but your choices are clear. Demanding a fix won't work if that's what you were planning next.

Been slow for the past few weeks off and on. Sometimes it works normally, sometimes it's impossible to access. It's like playing a game of chance anymore, where years ago this never happened.
