As anew user here, I apologize if this is not the right place to post my problem/question.

I have donw a search, and can't find anything about my problem, so here I go...

I have just installed Mambo on my website (www.jeffletellier.org) . The website I am is not "live" as of yet as I am still learning it. I am used to FTP when doing a website, but there are 2 other people that will be helping me with this website and they use Mambo, hence my install of it.

So my question is -
The speed of the website accessed directly is good - www.jeffletellier.org . But when I go into Mambo's admin screen, it (I believe it is Mambo that is slow, not the server) is very slow to respond. Is there a setting I need to set or something?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Dave Stuart

I visited your motorsports website in Mambo and it is fast. You are saying that the admin is slow. I had a brief problem with one of my client's websites when she tried to log into her ecommerce admin. It was a custom built website and not an open source script!

When I called support, they fixed it. Someone claimed that she was using the wrong login info, but I have backups and compared it with what was online before I called. I don't know what was really happening, but support did fix it.

This is not a slow website issue. This is an admin problem. Be sure to be clear when relaying information to support. Your website loads quickly but the website admin is slow.

You should remove some javascript, images and other effect isn't neccessary in template to make your Mambo (Joomla!) site runs smoothly.

Jacka, please read Yvette's post prior to yours. The site is running fine. It's the admin section that's having problems.
