My friend is hoping to sell jewelry on the Internet. She is a windows user
but non-technical.
What is the easiest E-commerce solution for non-technical people?
Hopefully, she can just upload pictures of jewelry, and fill-in-the-blank
about the cost and item descriptions, and the site does pretty much the
rest.
Any suggestions? I haven't tried ANY.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I've tried most of the free shopping carts but haven't found one that really makes things as easy as CS-Cart. Yes, it costs $200 but everything is right there and I mean everything. If you go to their site & use their demo it's amazing what you can do.
The initial setup can be tricky but there are good manuals & forums for CS-Cart. I don't have any script experience other then HTML coding but anyone can use their software to create a professional site. I've learned a lot the past month but by far CS-Cart is the best on the market. Before I purchased the software it took me good week or so before deciding. I don't regret it one bit :)
I can go on forever but CS-cart has so many options it's endless.

Hey,
What's your site that's using CS-Cart on Powweb? I'd like to check it out. And also how many unique visitors do you get a month? Is it a pretty low volume site? I've heard powweb only allows for 10 database connections at once right?

Also, Zoomiest, what ecommerce software did you eventually go with? How is it working out?

Checked out CS-Cart and it looks pretty good. You can do all kinds of stuff and it looks great! Remains to see how secure it is and how well it integrates with merchant providers. And $195 is nothing, especially if indeed works as in the demo and there is sufficient customer support when things are not going well. Does anyone use it here on PowWeb?

I use CS-Cart which has downloading problems for products over the size of 9 MB. CS-Cart says that it is my server, Powweb.com, and/or internet connection. However, all my products download via Powweb.com's download.cmp.
Here are the Links to CS-Cart video Starting with Powweb video. Powweb only allows two feeds to be viewed at once, so I put two 720x480 "feeds" on a row. Each "feed" is about an hour-long.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance,
