Can't create new mysql database?

Can't create new mysql database or is it just me being stupid again.

I login to powweb. Go to mysql link and attempt to add a new database all appears to go well. It says the new database was created but it is not listed. I still show only my five existing databases??? I got them to increase the limit today and I am wondering if I did something wrong, or is it just saying I can have 75 but really have something limiting me to just 5 (the old limit). Totally confused. :confused:

No, I think there is a problem to be fixed by Powweb. I've just tried to create a database. Originally I wasn't using any on that account. It said using 0 out of 75. I named a database and entered a password. It said it had created the database but still reports using 0 out of 75 and there is nothing available to manage the one I 'created'. Raise a support ticket - I'll do likewise and we'll see what the responses are :D

I've tried 'adding more' databases (for free) and it now says I have 145 available!

I've also tried doing the same in another account and it failed in the same way. Definitely a case for support senior people!

I received a reply from support which told me how to create a database, exactly the steps I'd taken. Their efforts had worked, and so did mine. Someone did something to fix the problem, but obviously didn't think it important to tell support about it. The tone suggested I hadn't done things correctly and asked for a (non-existent) screen shot of any error messages I got when creating the database originally.

Oh, well - it's fixed and should be working for everyone!
