I was on mysql02 before the name changes, and i've been trying to get a new version of wiki running, but it keeps telling me I don't have mysql 5.0. I checked the Server Information section in ops and its telling me I have mysql version 4.1.22 running.

Now do I have to switch over to 5.0 manually somewhere in ops? If so where would I do it? I've been looking all over and its getting me nowhere.

No, you can not turn v5 on. When your server is upgraded, you will have no choice. It will be v5. (Unless you go through deleting ALL of your DBs and recreating them on a new server. But I would not recommend doing such a thing while they are still working on the servers.) It should happen soon.

MySql02 should already have been migrated. Check your e-mails, you should have received notification of the impending change.

Are you certain it was 02 and not 06?

I have a database on mysql02 and it says we have MySQL5 since Wednesday. If you log into OPS, click MySQL, click Administer and go to phpmyadmin, you will see the updated version. I think you were looking at the old data shown elsewhere. They didn't update that server info yet. ;)

You can login to phpMyAdmin (yes, you can now -- they fixed the left panel slowness dealing with MySQL5 databases!); it will show you what version you're running (5.0.45 is the newer)
