2 Stupid to set up Database

I can't seem to get the link to my database right, reason being is i have no idea where it is..
I'm trying to install phpbb v2
Can anybody help me install this thing, or has anybody got an easy alternative for a forum ?

Well, I set up Invision (http://www.invisionboard.com) with no problems. I don't know where my DB is either but all I needed was the username, password, hostname and database name. I don't have MySQL set up on my PowWeb site, but I would imagine they gave you this info when you had MySQL set up. This is an option, not a standard feature, so if you're not set up for MySQL and don't want to pay for it, try Ikonboard (http://www.ikonboard.com). It doesn't need MySQL.

Yeh i found out as the day went on (n00b) powweb want $$$ to activate DB..

Basically, screw you Powweb, i got an offter to host my website elsewere, for less, with better uptime, and free mysql :)

Now to transfer my domain name ??
