First time using MySQL and have question

This is the first time I'm trying to setup MySQL for a calendar. However in the setup the script is asking for the database server. I put in the server name -> custsql-pow04 but this is not working. Am I missing a path to this or is there more than just this I need to put in? Thanks

What I found was that I needed to use the server name at the bottom of the MySQL table that I made the database from. username.powwebmysql.com However I still got errors that I could not reach the server. I tried a few other calender programs and still get the problem, its all setup as it should after reading all the docs, just seems that nothing is talking to the servers. Kinda getting irritating at this point. I can't find anything wrong.

Can you administer it from ops?

Yes I can get into the administer area and open it up and see things. I just tried again, I keep getting cannot connect to database, I am trying 3 different calendars and have 3 different DB for each one

I assume you are using the username/password setup for the db, not your ops user/pass.

These db's are only accessable on Powweb CGI servers
