Located in Burlington, MA, PowWeb provides Web-hosting services to small-business owners. The Assistant Webmaster will assist in the design and maintenance of several Web sites.

Responsibilities Include• Maintaining upwards of 25 corporate Web sites
• Designing and developing pages for marketing campaigns from scratch
• Creating pages, images, banners and other creative for promotional campaigns
• Gathering statistics and customer data to improve site usability and functionality
• Assisting in the development of newsletters and other online communications
• Assisting in the creation of online and offline advertisements
• Assisting in updating existing table-based sites into CSS
• Performing site audits and quality testing

Candidates should have …
• A portfolio of at least 3 sites created or worked on directly by individual
• An outstanding command of HTML
• Strong PhotoShop and design skills are required
• Experience with JavaScript, and CSS are required
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Experience working with XML and XSLT a big plus
• Experience with Subversion and UNIX is preferred
• Understanding of search engine optimization
• An understanding of Web 2.0 philosophies and culture
• Interest in business and marketing, as well as the Web hosting industry
• Strong attention to details
• Strong writing skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Strong organizational skills

I am all the above and can take on another 25 no problem. However I'm not in Burlington or even the U.S. How strict is that requirement Joshua? I can setup toll free international phone numbers.

That's a good question. Right now, we really need someone in-house. We've got all sorts of internal systems that would be difficult to train you on remotely. I'll definitely keep you posted in case something changes.
