There is a 30 day money back guarantee. Be sure and read the Terms of Service (ToS) located at the bottom of the PowWeb homepage before buying. It spells out the policy.

Awesome. Although I´m really bad at reading english, could someone please explain in a somehow easy way what I´ll have to do if the situation would come.

Best regards,
Jonni

You contact support via a form and explain you can't use the telephone to ring as you're in Europe. The money back is only for 30 days and you will be charged US$15 (around 15 Euro) for the domain name which is still yours even if you cancel.

If you cannot phone the first step is to email billing requesting cancellation, include your domain name. You won't find a link to the form IanS mentions in OPS. Billing will send you a link via email.

I am just wondering why you would regret using Powweb as a host???
You get tons of room, tons of bandwidth, tons of features and easily installed stuff, a great forum where everyone is real helpful, all for $5.77 a month. What is not to like???

I have been here like 4 years. Every time I turn around they are adding more room and stuff, upgrading features, blah blah blah. I tell everyone about this place. I could not be more satisfied that I am getting good value for my web hosting dollar.

give it a shot. Powweb is so excellent!!

Because "Bradt" the excellent and "telling everyone about this place" was now a few good months, something is happening to powweb ( maybe after migration ) and it isn't so good.

An exemple is:

Also my website and other friends sites in this case. It was great, but maybe what's so great have an end. Sorry to powweb, I respect them but it's time to move on.

Sorry my english...

According to Bradt's join date, he was here long before the migration and still seems to be happy.

I stand by what I said - Powweb Rocks!

Migration problems come and go. I have been in the computer engineering business for 22 years. I have seen lots of flashes in the pan. Powweb is not a flash in the pan. They have been consistently acceptable for the entire time I have been here. If you are losing money because of too much downtime, by all means, find another webhost.

When I first started here the storage allowed was measured in MEGS. They had a couple of canned apps they offered, a couple of databases. They have grown a bit since then and they keep growing. That means stuff gets moved around, redesigned. When changes happen, problems creep in. Have you ever designed a large distributed system? They don't always work smoothly. The true measure of an outfit like Powweb is how quickly they respond to problems in the midst of "migrations" and "upgrades" and whatever.

I have been with some jerky webhosts. Powweb used to fit in that category, but they outgrew that a long time ago. Be patient. If you can find a better value for your webhosting dollar, jump on it.

I will continue to tell everyone about powweb.

And not regret it

Good for you, I never said and thought that powweb is a flash in the pan or a jerky webhost ( and I know a lot of these kind ), that's why I respect, but every time I get the reports from monitoring sites I'm "praying" to be all ok and not to search for a new host.

Who likes to move all the site, with all the settings and stuff, maybe only those who have little static pages.

But when many many users from my site and friends sites complains, than there is something not so good.

I'm not regretting the stay, I regret I have to move to make this working...
