Is ftp.test.com and ftps.test.com different?

I noticed that I can FTP into my sight using FTP with ftp.test.com or ftps.test.com does ftps make it more secure by encrypting it like using https instead of http?

Basically no. Assuming your site is on Powweb, secure FTP isn't offered on the platform.

Thank you, I had read that post, but since it was ftps instead of sftp I thought I'd ask anyway.
