i already have php nuke installed to a subdomain but cant remember how i did it, i am trying to install either post nuke or php fusion to another sub domain but when i go to install it only gives me the choices of installing to the main domain.
anyone know how to tell it to install to the sub domain??
thanks

I assume you're trying to use InstallCentral? I just checked in mine, and if I hit the link to install it, it gives me a drop down list of all of my subdomains to choose from. Just make sure you have the subdomain already set up in ops: http://www.powweb.com/webControl/subdomains.bml

i have 2 sub domains set up but in install central when i go to install it doesnt list them in the drop down box, only list my main domain
How did you create your sub-domains? Is it using the domain pointing tool or via .htaccess?

domain pointing tool, created them about 2 years ago though
i have sent in 2 support requests but i guess this weekend is an off weekend, my support requests have always been answered within hours in the past, but not this time

try either making a new subdomain using the domain pointing tool or deleting an existing one and re-creating it, see if either of those will make it show up in that drop down list

or, you could always just manually install whichever one you want to use and completely avoid all of the frustration commonly associated with installcentral :)

The mapping setup has changed haymaker. As patr547 suggested re-create the subdomain using the tools in OPS> Domain> Subdomain Pointing> Then install your application to it.
