i need help badly

I cant access internet on mozilla firefox, netscape browser and opera.

No - absolutley NO SITE is loaded on it

Also ftp win xplorer does not work

chcked everything from firewall to proxy settings.. called Rogers internet service. They say if IE is working its a problem with computer

please help me. Would be much appreciated

btw, forgot to mention- mine is VISTA...

I hate vista.. its too smart for me.

Do you have the Windows firewall enabled? I'm not sure where it is in vista, but in XP, there is an icon for it in the control panel.

If it is enabled, try disabling it and see if that does the trick.

Can you downgrade to XP?

I don't think the issue with Vista is just you, I have heard many issue with it. In fact, Apple has been running an Ad directed at the folks going back to XP.

i checkd firewall- tried turnign it off and still does not work. Removed firefox and opera from list of exceptins.. still no change

the only thing i can use on my laptop is IE !!! tx microsoft

what message do you get when you try to load a webpage in firefox?

Try upgrading your Firefox to the latest version. Do a Google Search for +Vista +firefox +issues to get an idea of what you need to do.
