My son has received an email attachment with the file extension "3GP"
He has a laptop with Windows XP and all the 'normal/everyday' software
He has tried to open the attachment, be the "cannot open" notice is displayed, etc
The sender is a friend of his, and he is guessing it is either a group of photos or a video
Now I know he could write back and ask for it to be sent in a different format, but thought I would give this Forum a try
Anyone heard of "3GP"??
This page http://whatis.techtarget.com/file-extension-list-NUM/0,289954,sid9,00.html mentions "3GR" (which is close!!) and describes it as "VGA Graphics driver/configuration files (Microsoft Windows)"
Appreciate it if someone could let me know what it is and how to open it
Thanks
Geoff
