Hello,

I successfully installed the Singapore photo gallery from InstallCentral onto a subdomain http://1972.ameshigh.org , and it is working well for my needs.

I want to install Singapore again for another subdomain, my goal is to keep the photo galleries as separate as possible from each other, so I want an install for each subdomain. But when I go to InstallCentral the button to install Singapore is missing; apparently since I have already installed it once.

Question: Is there a way to force InstallCentral to show the Singapore install button again?

If not then assume I have to find the Singapore install files and install them myself manually probably from this location http://sgal.org

By the way, once I figured out a few things, Singapore works great ! I was looking for a photo gallery that had just a few bells and whistles (not too many) and did require a database. I recommend Singapore. there is an active user forum here: http://sgal.org/forum

Thanks.

Powweb only allows 1 instatllation per application as part of the package that you buy. Any attempt to 'force' install central to allow you to install more without paying Powwweb would be theft. You could simply do an install of your own which is perfectlly acceptable to Powweb.

I thought this had been updated to allow multiple installs from install centeral? I haven't played with it because I manually install everything, but I swear somewhere it was mentioned that installs were now able to install multiple times.

I'm working from memory as well - so it could be me that's wrong. ;)
(Although the fact that there is a problem suggests.... :D)

Yes, I remember the tool called Multi Installer for the installation of multiple copies of applications for the single domain. It is available in the Install Central page. ...*-:)

The MultiInstaller feature allows multiple installs of any of the InstallCentral Applications...

I've got two copies of Fusion that I installed using the MultiInstaller. Worked fine for me.

The important part is:
$7.95 one-time setup fee which is why most can't use it. My earlier comment is therefore correct,
Any attempt to 'force' install central to allow you to install more without paying Powwweb would be theft..

Now that I think of it, I didn't use the installer. My bad.

See, it's so easy to manually install that Doc thought he used the automatic installer :)

So... could we use the Multi Installer application to install something like Gallery2 on more than one subdomains without paying extra? Please help. My brother and I have separate subdomains for our photo gallery. We would like to each install that application on our subdomain. I installed it first.

If not, which other gallery application is easy to use? Thanks!!!

Not without paying. You can do manual installations without extra cost, or one Instant Install and use configuration files etc as a crip-sheet to work out the manual install.
