Hi all
Trying to get onto my website isn't easy from my own computer and I get partial content as well as slow loading when I do.
The only thing that's worse is trying to get onto this website, I gave up after 15 minutes earlier today.
I haven't got a FAST computer but is Broadband.
The rest of the Internet is normal, I don't have trouble going on other websites.
The problem isn't there if I go across the road to the Cyber cafe.....I just don't get it!

It is working perfectly for me in Australia.

It must be a dns/connection problem from your end.

you could try running a traceroute to see where the holdup is...

It took three attempts to get each page (tried a few links) properly.

Attempt one - Page not found
Attempt two - Page displayed without images
Attempt three - Page displayed fully (as far as I can tell).

So all is not well.

Obviously it is a UK based problem, it loads fine in Oz.

Loaded fine from the US just now too.

Have you tried accessing it through a proxy server when you are having slow connection from your location?

Obviously it is a UK based problem, it loads fine in Oz.Very probably a routing issue. It often is! :(

Hi Ian
It took me seven minutes to log on and start typing this.:( ..Router, well, I made sure I knew what that was first, I only have a single computer. The first thing beyond the phone socket is the phone Jack...leads to the Modem, and onto the computer.
Again, no problems anywhere else on the Internet, just my website and this website, by now it's hard to think it's a computer issue and I'm losing my patience this has been going on for weeks.
I've sent Powweb a link to this but so far no response.

you can run a traceroute by going to start | run, then typing cmd in the box. once you get the command prompt, type tracert seawitchartist.com , and it will show you the path your packets travel to get to powweb. if there are timeouts before the very end, the problem is not powweb.

Hi tpoynton
I tried to make that happen, but don't seem to be achieving it, something I'm going to have to learn.
However theres been some improvement suddenly, I hope it's something to do with this... http://www.powweb.com/info/systemnotice.bml?id=5890 lets hope so!
