I have 2 PC's. One PC has Word 97 and the other has the latest version of Word.

I like 97 a lot more than the new version of Word :)

Would it be easy to move over Word 97 onto my computer that also has the latest version of Word?

You might not be able to run both versions at the same time. I know some of MS's apps use the same dlls and other files which causes problems.

You can always uninstall the newer version of Word and install W97 on the other machine but just remember that it's most likely no longer supported by MS.

I run office 2003 and 2007 side-by-side without issue; not sure about earlier versions. If you really must run both and cant, you can always virtualize...

You can't just "move" it over, you would need to do a new install. If you have the original disks, that should easily done. If you plan on having it on both machines, you will have to look at your license to see if you can do it legally.

You'll be able to run both, but you'll have to set which one will open by default when you open a Word doc. You'll have to do a full install and have your license key.

Good Luck.
