Does anyone out there offer a service to help me setup WebGui on my site?

It is a perl script that provides anyone to edit the webpages without HTML knowledge via a browser, and uses MySQL database.

I have had MySQL installed, but don't know how to set up the script to work with Mysql. I assume I would have to perform the necessary setup commands using a database administration program like Mascon.

Anyone out there familiar with WebGui that can offer assistance to setup it upfor me?

regards Mike

Plain Black Software will do it for you for only $200
(http://www.plainblack.com/index.pl/installation)

However, they require Perl 5.6.x , and saturn.powweb.com has Perl Version 5.00503 (your site is on venus.powweb.com - i don't know what version of Perl is on that server...)

For me, saving the money and having the learning experience generally win out. The $200 seems reasonable, however, it does mean giving out an FTP password (not to infer anything against the company, but just to be safe, change the passwords once the system is up & running).
On the other hand, the information to get it running is 'out there'. I no longer use Perl in any new projects, but still maintain a few Perl BBS's (UltimateBB and YaBB) as well as some other utility programs (FormMail, etc,) PHP is a MUCH BETTER OPTION, as it was written from teh ground up to be a web language and has excellent MySQL integration. I don'y know your requirements, but consider PostNuke or some of the other php portal/news packages.

(my $.02 worth... gratis)
