I have an intentional fragment in my word document. Word will highly the fragment with a green underline. I would then right click on the fragment, press ignore, and hit save.

However, the next time I relaunch that word document, the same fragment will be underlined again (even though I ignored and saved it previously)

Any ideas? Thanks

Green underline is a grammatical error as far as word is concerned. Have you looked at how to make a rule for the grammar checker or to make the checking ignore the rule that is highlighting the 'error'? I'm using UK English so the settings could well be different and the version will determine how you change them anyway.

why not ignore it?

there is an option to turn off grammar checking in the document in 2007, word options/proofing.
