Microsoft word jibberish characters!

Hi Friends,

When I try to type something in Microsoft word I get strange characters in it. Please see following picture to know what I am talking about. Please help.

The image is too small to see clearly what is happening. Is it that there are dots between words? If so, try going to Tool > Options > View and uncheck those options you don't wish to see such as spaces and tabs.

If not, try posting the image with a better resolution on your webspace with a link.

tools | options | view tab

uncheck anything selected in the 'formatting marks' section

Search on your machine for a file called normal.dot and delete it and see if that clears it up.
