View Full Version : Not Receiving Forms

I have been using Matt's FormMail script for a long, long time now, and have not had any problems with it... until now. Something has happened to the processing of my forms. Sometimes I receive them, more often I don't. It seems to be a hit or miss proposition right now. When I hit the submit button, I get the thank you screen just like I should; however, the email gets lost somewhere. I even tried sending a test to myself, but I didn't get it. Tried another test yesterday and it worked, but not today. Nothing in the form code changed that I know of. Here are my forms:

Make sure you have a local mailbox set as the receiver (at least for troubleshooting) -- if the system is completeing, you should see the entry in that mailbox. Based on the symptoms, it could be a domain reputation, email content issue (the outbound filters are flagging/discarding the email) - or, the CGI is failing for some reason or timing out.
I usually also suggest writing out the information or storing it to a DB, so that even if the email portion fails, you don't loose the information provided.

sorry; thought I replied to this thread! I tested all of your forms with my username the other day...

Thanks for trying T, but I didn't receive them.

There are now a few different threads where people have reported form scripts that no longer send mail or only send mail successfully some of the time. It seems as though they are being filtered as spam. Some arrive late while others get lost.
