What would be the purpose of this folder?
../extratools/

It dates back to early 2006 (well not intentionally). I know I didn't create it. Is it a standard folder? :confused:

Any ideas?

And of course the real question: do I keep it or trash it?

You can rename a directory just like renaming a file. Do this and see what doesn't work right anymore, if anything does or doesn't.. It's not 'standard', for a basic HTML site, but perhaps was added when one of your CMS scripts was installed or updated.

If I were a betting man I'd bet that you used some of the tool scripts that "Extras" once offered. Scripts that he (Extras) offered to create .htaccess, subdomains, etc, etc,etc He had one that he called "Extras Tools" that had multiple functions.

Seems like when I first got a powweb acct I used some sort of tool (maybe called SiteDeluxe or something like that -- helped you build a site quik & dirty). The date on these would be about right.

I've looked at them many times & wondered about them (the folder & files). Sure tired of looking at them. I'll try that.

Well, I renamed & moved the file & directory. Will give it a little time and see if something breaks... in the meantime, I suppose, that's that! LOL
